Our Story
I’m Abe, the founder of Haul Helper, and this all started with my best friend, Mike.
Mike’s been trucking for over 20 years, a driver through and through. The road calls to him. The paperwork? Not so much.
Week after week he was buried under receipts, deadlines, and reports. That ever growing stack of paperwork was stealing his time, his money and his sleep!
He tried service after service. Every one of them charged a small fortune in hidden fees, promised the world, and delivered nothing but frustration.
Then life threw me a curveball that turned into an opportunity: I was laid off from my day job. With my background in running small businesses, I saw a chance to help my friend. So I stepped in.
While Mike hauled, I handled the backoffice. For seven years, he drove stress-free while I kept the books, logged mileage, managed compliance, tracked maintenance, and made sure no deadline was missed. When tax season rolled around, it was painless as we already had every ‘i’ dotted and ‘t’ crossed.
He focused on the road, I handled the rest. Together, it worked…and worked well.
We thought: why shouldn’t every trucker have this type of support?
And so Haul Helper was born.
